The
first step in becoming a volunteer is to fill out the volunteer
application. Please take the time to complete this application
and send it by e-mail to joyhappycats@cox.net,
or leave it at the adoption center. After studying your
application, our Rescue and Adoption Coordinator will schedule
an appointment with you regarding your time availability
and the volunteer activities in which you have expressed
an interest.. At this time, we will discuss what area of
volunteerism you would be most interested in. We do expect
at least a six month commitment.
We are looking for only hard working, dedicated people who
are team players. It is important that our volunteers relate
to each other as friends/family. We are looking for gentle
people who love animals!
You must be at least 18 years of age. We require four hours
of your time per week.
- All volunteers must provide a valid drivers license with
picture.
- All volunteers must provide written proof of a current
tetanus vaccination (no exceptions - sorry!).
